Mutton and Cabbage Curry



Mutton and Cabbage Curry
1kg mutton
Cabbage ( roughly chopped)
1 onion sliced
1 tomato sliced
2 tsp ground ginger and garlic
2 tsp chillipowder
1 tsp crushed chillies
1 tsp whole jeera
2 tsp dhania powder
1 tsp jeera powder
3 sticks cinnamon
2 bay leaves
2 cloves
1 tsp tumeric powder
Salt
Oil
Method
Fry jeera and cinnamon sticks in oil for a few seconds, then add onions, when onion is soft
add all the spices , salt and ginger/garlic
Allow spices to braise for a minute, then add tomato
U can add a little hot water at this stage.
After tomatoes have softened, add mutton .
When mutton is 3/4 cooked, add cabbage let curry cook completely.
Last add some curry leaves.
